How much do you know about check valves?

1. What is a check valve? 7. What is the principle of operation?

   Check valve is a written term, and is generally called a check valve, check valve, check valve or check valve in the profession. Regardless of how it is called, according to the literal meaning, we can roughly judge the role of the check valve to prevent the fluid from flowing back in the system and to ensure that the fluid can only move in a fixed direction. The opening and closing of the check valve is completed by the power of fluid flow, so the check valve is a kind of automatic valve. Because of its characteristics, the scale of use of check valves in life is very large.

   Two. Introduction to the classification of check valves

   Our common and commonly used check valves generally have three types: lift type, rotary type and disc type. The following separately introduces the characteristics of three different check valves:

  1. Introduction to lift check valve

   Lift check valve is divided into two types: horizontal and vertical according to the method of placing the device. Whether it is horizontal or vertical, it moves along the axis to complete the opening and closing.

  A. For some projects that require relatively high engineering quality, we generally use lift-type silent check valves. Generally, we install the check valve at the outlet of the pump;

  B. Generally, silencing check valves are generally used in the water supply and drainage system of high-rise buildings. In order to avoid being blocked, the silencing check valve is generally not used for sewage discharge;

  C. The discharge of sewage is handled by a dedicated horizontal check valve. It is generally used in supporting local areas such as drainage and sewage pumps.

  2. Rotary check valves are divided into three types: single valve, double valve and multi valve according to their different check methods. Their operating principle is to complete the rotation through its own center and then complete the opening and closing.

  A. The use of rotary check valves is relatively fixed, and is generally used in urban water supply systems, but it is not suitable for sewage pipelines with a lot of sediment;

  B. Among different rotary check valves, the single-leaf check valve is widely used. It does not require high fluid quality and is often used in water supply and drainage, petroleum, chemical, metallurgical and other occupations. Especially in some constrained places, the single-leaf check valve has been used a lot;

  3, the introduction of disc-type check valve

  A. Disc-type check valves are generally straight-through. Butterfly-type double valve check valves are widely used in the water supply and drainage of high-rise buildings, and some fluids are corrosive or are used in some sewage systems;
